Nowadays, most machineries use petroleum as an energy source. However, as petroleum is a fossil fuel, it has a limit- 50 years from now, it'll be exhausted. Then, are there any alterntives for energy?
The answer is 'yes'. There are wind energy, solar energy, nuclear energy, etc. But the best promising one would be hydrogen. There are a couple of reasons why hydrogen is so advantageous.
First, it's very easy to gain. For instance, one water molecule contains two hydrogen atoms. As 75% of the earth surface is covered with water, we wouldn't have to worry about its exhaustion.
Also, hydrogen is much easier to concentrate or store than other energy sources. We can stack and transport them easily, unlike gasoline which also has a risk of exploding.
Therefore, I'm certain that hydrogen will be a very effective energy source in the future. |
